New in the Travel Shop is the possibility to join Dutch Minion on an adventure in France in the beautiful surroundings of the Auvergne in France.

The Auvergne is a beautiful historic area. The name comes from the Gallic people of Arverni. Later the area was conquered by the Romans and then split into four sub-areas during the Middle Ages. After many shifts throughout history, the four sub-regions have been part of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes since 2016.

The area is part of the so-called Massif Central. An area consisting of more than 400 extinct volcanoes. More than anywhere in the world. A unique area with the opportunity to enjoy the special nature, history and challenging roads for motorcyclists.

What does Dutch Minion offer?

In collaboration with the beautiful accommodation of Domaine Barreaux, you can enjoy 5 nights in one of the characteristic rooms and where you can also use the swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and lounge rooms. Breakfast and dinner are also provided daily by the fantastic cooking owners of Domaine Barreaux, Rita and Luc. The last evening will be of an even higher culinary level. Lunch is provided twice during the routes and twice will be for your own account. The way back is also provided. Each participant will receive a tasty packed lunch for the way home.

The routes are guided by one of the guides of Dutch Minion (when fully booked, the group will be split in two separate groups). The Massif Central is explored in all directions. But there won't be just riding around. There will also be the opportunity to visit one of the many historic castles in the region, including a guided tour (entrance costs are at your own expense). There is no need to worry about leaving the motorcycles alone. One of the guides will remain with the motorcycles.

When will it be and what are the costs?

This adventure will take place from September 23 (arrival) to September 28 (departure) 2024. The costs for this adventure are: € 785,- per person. A maximum of 14 people can participate in this adventure. (Available in total 14 spots. Still 4 spot available).

Included are:

  • If desired, a GPX route for the outward journey.
  • 5 nights. NB! There are no single rooms available. However, the beds are separated from each other in the very spacious rooms by means of, for example, a mezzanine (space high up in the room), an intermediate screen or a separate floor.
  • Daily use of all available facilities. Like a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, the archery field, etc.
  • Daily guidance from Dutch Minion during the routes. If desired, you can also ride on your own initiative. Various GPX files are available during the stay. Suitable for both TomTom and Garmin.
  • 5 times breakfast and dinner. The last evening will be a so-called French dinner.
  • 2 lunches en route.
  • 1 packed lunch for the return journey.
  • Collecting many beautiful stories and memories.

Exclusive:

  • Fuel for the motorcycle.
