Waypoint Challenge

For motorcyclists, a weekend full of challenges!

But there is also a beautiful on-road route to ride for those who prefer to have a more relaxed weekend.

When?

  • Easter weekend 2024 (March 29th to 31st, 2024).
  1. Friday arrival;
  2. Sunday departure;
  3. Option to book 1 extra night directly at the campsite to leave on Monday.

Together with?

  • Adventure Shield. Albert Oosting;
  • Camping Brammershoop (Kanaalstraat 4, Eeserveen).

How?

  • Friday arrival. You are welcome from 14:00;
  • Saturday morning breakfast together (included in the price);
  • Saturday the Waypoint Challenge:
  1. A number of waypoints are set out for you to find. These coordinates will be loaded into your navigation system. This will test your navigation skills as there is no predefined track.
  2. There are both paved and unpaved waypoints;
  3. Unpaved waypoints will be highlighted, should you wish to avoid them.
  • The route will include both paved and unpaved (off-road) sections;
  1. The waypoints are positioned so that they are accessible with your motorcycle.
  2. Additionally, you will be given an extra challenge in the form of a questionnaire with various questions to answer. These can be based on details surrounding the waypoints. It will not be indicated which question corresponds to which waypoint to make it a bigger challenge. This will test your observational skills;
  3. At the end of the day, you will submit your questionnaire and other evidence (details provided prior to the start of the challenge) to the organizers for verification, after which a ranking will be compiled;
  4. There will be a ranking with a top 3, each receiving a small token of appreciation.
  • If you want to ride but don't want to participate in the challenge, there is the option to ride a beautiful paved route. A GPX file of this route will be provided;
  • On Saturday evening, motorcyclist Martijn will cook for all participants with his Outdoor Kitchen and will serve a delicious buffet with soup, hamburger buns, and salads (included in the price);
  • Sunday morning, one last breakfast together (included in the price);
  • Sunday, sadly, it's time to go home or to continue enjoying the Easter weekend.

What are the costs?

  • €115 per participant. Included are:
  1. 2 nights camping (bring your own tent or camper);
